Buried Onion was a very good book about a Mexican guy name Eddie that lived in Fresno, Nevada. I liked it very much because of the changes and the things that he realized as the book went on. He was basically a low life until he realized the thing that he was doing was wrong. Eddie dropped out of college, was in a gang, and lived in a really bad apartment complex, so he really didn’t have anything going for him. He finally realized that he had to do something in his life, so he started thinking of options he could do and he came up with some along the way. He started painting curbs and helping a guy that was trying to fix his up. Although he got into trouble along the way he always found a way to get out of it. I guess I can say that I relate to Eddie in a way because I realize things from experience and mistake that I have made and sometime on my own, but other than that I’m not really not the book. There is one other thing that I might do like he did though. If I don’t know what I’m going to do with my life, I might consider going to the military like he did.

I think it is a problem for teen these days that just look like a suspect for something and the police take it to another level when the teen didnt do anything. The post that i read on the website were really sad things about the cops killing people for looking like there doing something wrong. There was a story about a teenager that was mentally challenged and wouldnt coroporate with the police and the cop shot the boy in the head because he was trying to get away. To me it seems like the cops think they can do anything and not have any punishment. They seriously need to get punished because when they are not working they are just regular people just like anyone else on the streets. When I had first came to this school I didn’t eat any of the cafeteria food because I didn’t think I would like it because some of my other friends didn’t like it. And then one day I tried the chicken sandwich and found out that it’s not that bad. So I tried the other different varieties of food and I kind of like it. So I think that the food at the cafeteria isn’t as bad as people say it is. One of the other reasons why that I didn’t eat the food in the beginning of the school year was because the cafeteria didn’t smell to clean. Every time I walk in there it smells like greasy French fries. The tables weren’t all that clean when I sat down either. Sometimes it be real sticky or just have food left over from the other lunch. The walls are a little decorated with some posters and cameras which makes it a little nice. The lunch ladies at the cafeteria are pretty nice. They sometimes start conversation with me whenever I’m dressed up for a game and ask me who my team is playing. In mostly every line, what ever I get in each line the lunch ladies know what I want to get before I tell them. On the days I do have a game, it seems like this one lady always hooks me up the fries. Also, at the last 10 minutes of lunch, I go to same line everyday to get a cookie and they also know what I’m going to get before I ask. The food like I said isn’t as bad as people say it is. Almost everything that they serve is pretty good. I usually get the chicken sandwich or a sub sandwich, and every once in a while I will get a pizza. People eat the same food everyday and isn’t really good for peoples health, but people do it anyway. Also the amount the food is not enough for what we pay for, but it is good. We pay $1.65 for our lunch. I guess its worth it taste wise but not the amount of food we get. I like the how we have a variety of food here, because the school in Hawaii that I had went to, we didn’t have a variety of food to choose from. What they had to serve that day was what we had to eat. But overall I think the cafeteria isn’t the best, but it is better than what people make it out to be. How High is one of the best movies to watch if you love to watch comedy movies. It’s a real funny movie about two friends that want to just have a better life and by doing that, they go to one of the smartest colleges, Harvard, and they also get help from a ghostly friend. The two main actors Silis played by Method Man, and Jamal played by Redman, are closely related and that’s why they got along so well. That’s also why I like this movie, they get along so well and the stuff that they do and say are just so funny. They just love to have fun and make the school livelier by throwing parties and joining sports. The lighting and music go along so well together that it makes so much excitement or emotion and just makes the movie more interesting. Like when Silis was talking this girl that he has been trying to get with in a dimed room and some soft music playing. Also at the end of the movie when they had a party with the whole school and it got foggy and the lights were dim. This website will show you a variety of shoes that you may like or may not like. It shows new shoes and there release dates, that’s basically the reason why I go on the website, so that I can get the shoes right when they come out and save my money up for them.
